Míriam Liébana Yeste with "Sweet Notes" wins the Customer Cup
Spanish design student Míriam Liébana Yeste took on the Customer Cup category with her ‘Sweet Notes’ concept. This concept focuses on the link between chocolate and human relations; the consumer can write a small message on the packaging, depending on the mood they are in.
Project Sweet Notes:
This concept goes beyond the standard functions of packaging, being protection and selling the product in the best possible way. By giving the packaging an attractive utility for the consumer, the packaging becomes ‘alive’ and interacts directly with the consumer; making the eating of chocolate an experience.

Fien Embrechts with "Soft Chocolate Skin" wins the Public Prize
The Public Vote category went to Belgian textile design student Fien Embrechts and her concept ‘Soft Chocolate Skin’. This pack is made of needle-punch polyactic acid (PLA), a biodegradable, renewable felt-like material that provides a revolutionary way of protecting chocolate.
Project Soft Chocolate Skin:
The feeling of existing chocolate packs is always very boring and clean. Also chocolate packaging makes noise and this can sometimes be annoying for you or other people when you want to enjoy your chocolate in a public place.
